Terms of Service

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the services of Metroplex Pros ("we," "us," or "our"), you ("client" or "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services Provided

Metroplex Pros provides home improvement and construction services including but not limited to:

• Kitchen and bathroom remodeling
• Interior and exterior painting
• Flooring installation
• Electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services
• Smart home installations
• General home repairs and maintenance
• Market ready and rental make ready services

Estimates and Contracts

Free Estimates

We provide free estimates for most projects. Estimates are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on actual project conditions discovered during work.

Written Contracts

All work exceeding $500 will be governed by a written contract that includes:

• Detailed scope of work
• Materials and labor costs
• Project timeline
• Payment schedule
• Change order procedures

Payment Terms

• Payment Schedule: Payment terms will be specified in your contract. We typically require a deposit to begin work.
• Final Payment: Final payment is due upon project completion and client approval.
• Late Payments: A service charge of 1.5% per month may be applied to overdue balances.
• Payment Methods: We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.

Project Changes

Changes to the original scope of work must be approved in writing through a change order that specifies:

• Description of additional or modified work
• Cost adjustment (if any)
• Timeline impact
• Client and contractor signatures

Materials and Permits

Materials

Unless otherwise specified, we will provide all materials. Client-provided materials must be delivered to the job site when needed. We are not responsible for delays caused by late material delivery.

Permits

We will obtain necessary permits for work requiring them. Permit costs are typically included in project estimates unless otherwise noted.

Warranties and Guarantees

Workmanship Warranty

We guarantee our workmanship for one (1) year from project completion. This warranty covers defects in installation or construction caused by our work.

Material Warranties

Materials are covered by manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer defects beyond our control.

Warranty Exclusions

Warranties do not cover:

• Normal wear and tear
• Damage from misuse or neglect
• Modifications made by others
• Acts of nature or accidents

Liability and Insurance

Metroplex Pros carries general liability and workers' compensation insurance. Our liability is limited to the contract value of the work performed. We are not responsible for:

• Existing conditions not disclosed during initial assessment
• Damage to personal property not directly caused by our negligence
• Delays due to weather, permit issues, or circumstances beyond our control
• Consequential or indirect damages

Safety and Site Access

• We maintain a safe work environment and follow industry safety standards
• Clients must provide reasonable access to work areas
• Work areas may be hazardous during construction - please follow our safety guidelines
• Pets should be secured during work hours for safety

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellation

Clients may cancel projects with written notice. Cancellation fees may apply based on work completed and materials ordered.

Our Right to Cancel

We reserve the right to cancel contracts for non-payment, unsafe conditions, or client behavior that interferes with work completion.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage direct communication to resolve any concerns. For disputes that cannot be resolved directly:

• We prefer mediation through a neutral third party
• Any legal proceedings will be governed by Texas state law
• Disputes will be resolved in Dallas County, Texas courts

Privacy and Communication

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect and use your personal information. We may use project photos for marketing purposes unless you specify otherwise.

Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Updated terms will apply to new contracts entered after the update date. Existing contracts remain governed by the terms in effect when signed.
